+We currently collect and process the following information:

+    * Contact phone numbers

+    * Emergency contact (optional)
+  * Subscriber status information:
+    * Dates in relation to subscription status
+    * Payment amounts and non-payments
+====How we get the personal information and why we have it====
+The personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for the following reason:
+  * Requesting to join Newport Makerspace as a subscriber. When you request to join Newport Makerspace as a subscriber, we will send you this data policy document and a sign-up form in order to capture the information needed. It is a requirement that you read our data policy in order to become a subscriber.
+We use the information that you have given us in order to maintain a record of your subscription, we only request personal information that is required for this purpose.
+Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the lawful bases we rely on for processing this information are:
+  * We have a legitimate interest. We have a requirement to keep a minimum amount of personal information in order to maintain a subscription record. Access to your data is restricted to those that have a legitimate need to process subscription information. You may be contacted by the Secretary, Subscription Secretary, Communications Manager or the Treasurer using the information that is provided in the subscription record.

+We keep information pertaining to subscription for the period of subscription. If you decide to end your subscription, we will remove all your personal information from our subscription record within 12-months.

+You are not required to pay any charge for exercising your rights. If you make a request, we have one month to respond to you.
