This purchase proposal is for an Automatic bed levelling kit for the Creality Ender-3 V2 3D printers. One of the biggest causes of print failure (and subsequently wasted filament) in the Makerspace has been issues with bed levelling. I recommend we purchase the official Creality CR-Touch Auto Levelling kit for the 3 printers. This will ensure prints are always true to the bed surface and greatly reduce the likelihood of failed prints.

This proposal is to purchase some parts to create and mount a wasteboard for the Workbee CNC. Full details of the plan can be seen on the Discord CNC channel. The parts required are . In addition some M5 bolts (to mount the wasteboard to the frame) and some M8 bolts (to hold the screw in clamps) will be required. Clamps can almost certainly be machined from existing wood offcuts.

This purchase proposal is for additional rolls of PLA filament for the 3D printers. We are starting to run out of PLA filament for the 3D Printers. I suggest we buy 3KG rolls rather than the current 1KG rolls to save having to change them regularly and to reduce the storage for the rolls. I recommend we choose black filament as it lacks the abrasive properties of the white we have currently (due to the titanium dioxide they use for the colouring)

This purchase proposal is for heavy duty racking and boxes for members storage and sewing machine stowage in F11C. This will provide 30 boxes for individual members with an 18L capacity. The temporary shelf will be removed along with the low printer shelf. The printer will live on the new racking unit.

We could do with a vernier caliper to help with accurate measurements. I would suggest a medium priced one or maybe a couple of cheap ones. A medium priced one at £36 or cheap ones at £12
