The personal information we process is provided to us directly by you for the following reason:
Requesting to join Newport Makerspace as a subscriber. When you request to join Newport Makerspace as a subscriber, we will send you this data policy document and a sign-up form in order to capture the information needed. It is a requirement that you read our data policy in order to become a subscriber.
We use the information that you have given us in order to maintain a record of your subscription, we only request personal information that is required for this purpose.

We have a legitimate interest. We have a requirement to keep a minimum amount of personal information in order to maintain a subscription record. Access to your data is restricted to those that have a legitimate need to process subscription information. You may be contacted by the Secretary, Subscription Secretary, Communications Manager or the Treasurer using the information that is provided in the subscription record.
Your information is securely stored in a database with restricted access.
We keep information pertaining to subscription for the period of subscription. If you decide to end your subscription, we will remove all your personal information from our subscription record within 12-months.
